Hello Landcarers.
I wanted to start this week with an acknowledgement of our current sponsors. These sponsors enable volunteer groups such as ours to survive and we really value their contribution. They include, The Champion Post and Forbes Advocate, North Parkes Mine, Parkes and Forbes Shire Councils, and the Lachlan and Central West CMA’s. 2Pk and 2LVR also play a major role in getting our news out to the community. Many thanks again to these organizations for their ongoing support. We will soon bring news of the Landcare Hub, a project that will allow many more sponsors and supporters to come on board. Where's the Rabbit???

No this is not a request from Elmer Fudd. It’s a request from concerned Australian scientists who want to alert the crazy Government that there is a rabbit plague growing and it’s outside Parliament House.

Concerned Scientists have been seeking a programme that can be easily accessed by the community to register the numbers of rabbits in specific locations. This information can be registered on the web site www.rabbitscan.net.au and registers the numbers directly to a Google map, or email to rabbitscan1@gmail.com  Read Full Story
