Before I get right into the Landcare issues in this column, Id like to acknowledge that the wet is compounding many of the difficulties our farmers have been experiencing over the past eight or nine years of drought. If you need help, please get in contact with any of the many services available, such as through Centrelink, Drought Support worker Jan Bruce, Drought Support Mental Health worker Di Gill and all of the lovely people at Community Health, or give your Landcare Office a call on 6862 4914, myself on 6816 3214 or Gerald on 04287 43846.

Looking at Landcare-Sausage Sizzling Trees

Hello Landcarers.
Hello Landcarers. A call out to all of you who might be looking for a day out this Saturday. We have a planting day at the Central West Livestock Exchange that will be starting at 10am. Grab your hat, gloves and covered footwear and come for half an hour or more and help us to make the site a bit more people and animal friendly, by popping in some more native trees. We will even feed you a sausage sandwich at the end for all of your hard work!
