What a great evening we held last Friday night at the Welcome weir in Parkes for the inaugural Parkes and Districts Landcare hosted Clean Up a Carp Day. Though we didn’t catch a lot of fish, it was a very pleasant afternoon, with over 80 registered fisherpeople and quite a few more onlookers.

Thanks to the volunteers night
We had the NSW Landcare Forum and awards presentation here in Parkes on the 5-7 September and it was a great success with three hundred and twenty delegates from all over the state attending. We conducted the forum over two venues mainly with four venues being used for the award nominees oral and visual presentation. We also conducted four bus trip to field trips around the area showing off the environmental work we are achieving.  Read Full Story
