The Envirohub met this week for its regular meeting. The EnviroHub is I guess the partnerships arm of Central West Lachlan Landcare – it is a forum where those organisations with an interest in natural resource management across the Central West Lachlan area can meet to discuss projects around mutually agreed outcomes. To remind you all, the concept of the Hub is to gather organisations who work in the environmental and community sphere together to look at ways in which we can work together. On our own we have resources that we are all looking to out towards projects, and in reality these projects are under similar themes.

Forum meeting ensures success.
We had the meeting yesterday and we talked about the forum update and at the present time we have received 154 registrations for attendance which is tremendous as the forum is not until 5th September. We also looked at the final program and that has been finalised with dignitaries and Federal and State Ministers attendance secured. Merrill Findlay gave an update on the Kalarahi Lachlan River Arts Festival and that looks to be shaping up to a fantastic event also and that event will be on the 3 and the 4 September. The landcare Forum is going to be held in conjunction with that event. At the meeting we looked at the budget and we are pretty well aligned with that and we discussed the field trip and the buses that have been organized we also looked at the selection of field trips that had been selected by the 154 persons that have registered.
