Update on the field trip to Bruie Plains.
This was a success but not many people turned up. We had a great day sitting on the bus touring the Bruie Plains area (near Trundle) looking at some of the works they’ve done in the past by the Bruie Plains landcare Group. These works included fenced waterways for erosion control, tree corridors for wind erosion and stock protection these tree corridors also provided biodiversity connectivity. There was a wetlands to reduce downstream erosion to improve water quality and provide riparian and aquatic habitat. Read Full Story
