drumMUSTER reaccreditation course
This will be held at the Parkes and Districts landcare Office located at Kelly Reserve (right next to the old steam engine). The date Wednesday 28th September 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Members assisting with the drum MUSTER need to be accredited in this course to carry out the procedure on collection day. The course is free and any landcare member wishing to gain reaccreditation or wishes to be accredited are urged to participate. Contact the office on 6862 4914 to have your name on the list.
Forbes will be having a drum MUSTER on 30th September 9.00am to 12 noon contact the Forbes Services club on 6852 1488. to book your time in and save delays. Parkes are having a drumMUSTER on 5 October 9.00am to 12 noon phone Fiona Graham at Parkes Shire Council, 6861 2373 to book in for a delivery time. By booking in this will save time for you and the volunteer collectors as the times can be coordinated.
Stress free stockmanship for healthy landscapes
As a landholder do you know how to understand stock behavior, know how to efficiently handle stock in a stress free way or de stress new and existing animals to improve. If you are not sure then his course may be for you. The three day Stress free stockmanship course will be held in Parkes commencing on 28 September. Each day will include practical demonstrations, active participation, group discussion and demonstration videos, individual coaching as well as group work. Meeting of Parkes and Districts Landcare
Our next meeting will be on the evening of 5th of October commencing at 6.30 pm. The venue being the landcare Office located in Kelly Reserve right next to the steam engine. Any listener or landcare member wishing to learn more about Landcare and contribute to our forward planning are welcome to attend. meeting date again 5th October 6.30 pm landcare office.
