NSW Landcare Forum - Registration Is Now Open

Forum Registration Now Open

The registration for 2011 Landcare & Catchment Management Forum is now open. This event is going to be held in Parkes from the 5 - 7 September 2011 offering a dynamic program of events including field trips, workshops, networking functions and presentations from a huge line up of cutting edge speakers.

Registration is open to all members of the community with discounted rates for the entire forum package which includes attendance at the Welcome Reception, full attendance at the two day forum including field trips/workshops, morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas for both days, breakfast in the Park on Tuesday and the attendance at the highly anticipated NSW State Landcare Awards Dinner. For those that cannot attend all of the events associated with the Forum, there are a range of individual options available.

The Forum aims to address the important environmental issues landholders are facing and try and discover ways forward to improve the sustainability of our environment and its natural resources. The 2011 Forum will be a great opportunity for Landcarers, Government, Industry proponents, educational institutions and urban communities to all collaborate, interact and try and find new solutions for the old issues.

The diverse range of forum presentations and activities will provide an insight into the environmental concerns facing our Landcarers and will offer the opportunity to explore Parkes & its surrounding districts and attendance at the highly prestigious and anticipated 2011 NSW Landcare Awards Ceremony. Margaret Haddin chairperson of Parkes & Districts Landcare said "the Forum is a great opportunity to promote Parkes and solve the current issues for Landcarers across New South Wales".

Early bird rates are on offer for those who register for the complete package by Monday 11 July. All registrations must be received for the forum no later than Friday 19th August 2011. Registration forms can be found at Parkes and Districts Landcare web page
