Forum Registration Closing SoonThe 2011 NSW Landcare & Catchment Management Forum is only one month away and Registration closes Friday 19th August.
The Forum, to be held in Parkes from the 5 - 7 September 2011, is offering a dynamic program of events including field trips, workshops, networking functions and presentations from a huge line up of cutting edge speakers.
Registration is open to all members of the community, with discounted rates for the entire Forum package which includes attendance at the Welcome Reception, full attendance at the two day forum, including field trips/workshops, morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas for both days, breakfast in the Park on Tuesday and the attendance at the highly anticipated NSW State Landcare Awards Dinner. For those that cannot attend all of the events associated with the Forum, there are a range of individual options available.
The Forum would not be possible without the sponsorship & support of the Lachlan Catchment Management Authority (CMA). The principal sponsor has provided support to the 2011 NSW Landcare and Catchment Management Forum and Parkes & Districts Landcare, including employee resources on the Forum Steering committee, co-ordinating the Field Trips, facilitating Kids Landcare Carnival and monitoring registrations.
Rob Gledhill the Chairman of Lachlan Catchment Management Authority said "We are now entering a new era of climate change, carbon, renewable energy and the need for greater food production. The Landcare Movement and the Catchment Management Authorities must continue to work together as a partnership to achieve the work that still needs to be done".
